DRAFT — OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED. This template is for approval before payments are activated. Final rights, stream limits, royalty terms, policies, and contact information must be confirmed by SHUG. Do not enable checkout until approved.
License version SHUG-2026-1. The Producer means the SHUG rights holder. The Licensee means the named purchaser on the Stripe receipt and SHUG license record. Each purchased beat is licensed for incorporation into one original recording (a "New Song"). Each beat in a purchased pack carries its own individual license.

The Licensee may record and distribute the New Song using the purchased instrumental, subject to the tier limits. The Licensee may not sell, sublicense, share, or redistribute the standalone beat, claim authorship of the underlying instrumental, register the beat or New Song in a way that blocks the Producer or other authorized licensees through Content ID, or purport to convey exclusive rights. The Producer reserves ownership of the instrumental composition and master. No copyright ownership is transferred through a nonexclusive lease. The New Song's original lyrics and newly authored elements belong to their respective contributors.
Where platform metadata supports it, credit “Prod. SHUG”. Publishing splits, songwriter registration, mechanical licenses, PRO distributions, and third-party sample restrictions should be separately documented and confirmed before sale. No split or royalty waiver is implied solely by the checkout payment.
Prices shown at checkout are in USD. After Stripe confirms successful payment, SHUG automatically sends a secure download email to the buyer's provided address. Links expire after seven days, but the purchased nonexclusive license does not automatically expire with the download link. Contact SHUG if links expire or delivery fails. The buyer should keep a local backup. Purchased assets are digital products. Refunds for technical failures, non-delivery, double charges, or legally required rights remain available through support. Requests and applicable consumer rights will be reviewed case by case. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer protection rights.
Exclusive purchases require a separately signed agreement that accounts for earlier nonexclusive licenses. Any change to a purchased license must be agreed by the parties; the terms version referenced in the purchase confirmation applies to that purchase. If a track's third-party clearances impose narrower restrictions, those restrictions must be disclosed before sale.
